About Strong Horse Leather

At Strong Horse Leather, I build belts and leather gear by hand in Signal Mountain, Tennessee.

I use full-grain leather from American tanneries I trust—Wickett & Craig, Hermann Oak, and Horween—because the hide matters. Thickness matters. Temper matters. The way it ages matters.

Every piece is cut, assembled, and finished one at a time.

The lineup includes belts, knife sheaths, lever-action scabbards, rifle slings, and a few other hard-use pieces. They’re made to handle real wear—not just look good hanging on a peg.

I don’t build disposable gear. I build leather that breaks in, darkens, and takes on character with you.
